Meet the experienced and dedicated doctor at Twin Peaks Eyecare, proudly providing high-quality vision care services to patients throughout Marana and Northern Tucson.
Benjamin Fuhr, O.D. earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, in 2021, after graduating with honors from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Dr. Fuhr provides comprehensive, full-scope eye care for patients of all ages. He has experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and retinal conditions. His training and professional experience span both private practice and referral-based ophthalmology clinics, allowing him to care for patients with diverse and complex vision needs.
In addition to comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Fuhr offers contact lens fittings—from routine to specialty lenses—surgical co-management, and ongoing care for chronic eye conditions. He is committed to delivering personalized, patient-centered care and believes that strong communication and long-term relationships are essential to maintaining healthy vision.
Dr. Fuhr was inspired to pursue optometry through early shadowing experiences and values the opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on his patients’ lives. His goal is to provide high-quality, independent eye care for individuals and families at every stage of life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fuhr enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, golfing, and exploring the outdoors.
